The re-engineered M838TL V8 twin-turbocharged engine produces 666hp and 516lb/ft of torque which is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which is twice as fast as the 650S upon which this vehicle is based.<br>The carbon fiber MonoCell provides the 675LT with an unrivalled combination of lightness, safety and stiffness, in common with all models in the McLaren Super Series. But an obsessive weight-saving strategy unlocks a further 100kg reduction compared with the 650S.
